TV tuner causing shutdown problems!

Hi. Igot this StLab TV tuner and when i put the card in one of the slots the computer doesn't shutdown, it as if restarts. I press shutdown during rebooting and it reboots. It happens 90% of the time, unless i play with the slot for some time and it stops for a while.
The Tuner is working fine thought.
Any thoughts?

confused, are you putting the tuner when the computer is on??

no man of course im not putting when the computer is on. I tried different slots but the problem presists.

The card is faulty then, or the card drivers are a bit crap and are hanging the system.....

Well is it possible to be a software problem? Since when i remove the card and boot, it is normal. And when i turn the UPS on the computer turns on ans boots by itself.
