TV Tuner not detecting anything after installation of second GFX card

Hi, I recently upgraded my pc to include a second 8800 GTS card, however there is a really annoying side effect that has really baffled me.

After installing the new card I realised that my TV tuner (Winfast 1000T) had ceased operation. The strange thing is that it's still detected and all, but when it comes to picking up services, nothing; Take out the new card and its working fine again.
I've tried the following:
> Swapping it to all other PCI slots
> Removing every trace of Winfast and reinstalling
> Re-installing Nvidia's drivers (nForce 15.23)
> Completely removing the card, then boot, wipe drivers and reinstall
> and removing the PCI bus drivers and reinstalling

All of which had no effect. I'll try another bios update (which makes my comp crash everytime I install it) and see if that makes much of a difference

Any suggestions in the meantime would be greatly appreciated, looks like if this doesn't work i'll be in the market for a PCI-e 1x tuner

All on latest drivers, why would it suddenly be a problem now though? it's got something to do with the extra pci-e slot being used i reakon
 
hmm, might try experimenting with some older drivers then ... Leadtek drivers tend to get worse the more they update lol
 
Well I think drivers can be ruled out now, new symptom: the LAN adapters (integrated dual 1G adapters) are doing the same thing; both are being detected and installed but say 'cable unplugged' (yes I've tested the cable). What's going on? Just got a new PSU so that can't be it. Could it be the chipset not getting enough power? Should i try upping the voltages a little?
New bios update did pretty much nothing.
Anymore help would be greatly appreciated

Yeh it was only when I installed the other card;
Thanks for all you help and time, went out and bought a new PCI-E 1x TV card and it works perfectly. Probably a random problem that a new mobo would fix (which I might do when the newer Phenom's come out). Thanks again
