Tv Tuner Thingy Question...

Hey,

I have a TV tuner that plugs into my laptop, it has an adapter that can connect to it with the red, white, yellow and also a black plugs, but are all only 1 cm long in wire length, can I hook this up so the picture displays on a TV?
If so what will I need..?
It also has cord that plugs into the USB Remote receiver with a little red transmitting marboby on the end if that helps...
As you can tell I have no idea what I'm talking about so It's hard to converse....

You can get an extended length cable from radio shack to reach the extra distance.

So take the rca cables plug them into your tv then into your tv tuner and configure it

Are you sure that cable isn't input? TV tuners usually only allows input image while a graphics card does the outputting. You will most likely have to run a vga/dvi cable from your laptop to your TV.

Yes I have realized that... In order to get the picture on my TV I'll need a converter....

On another note, If I plug my xbox cables into this TV tuner input can i get the picture on the laptop?
