TV Tuner

Does anybody have a TV Tuner on their laptop or desktop? I want to know how this thing actually works. Does one need to scribe to get reception? Also, if not then what channels does one get? Is it worth getting one?

its channels depend on the TV circuitry.
do you think net TV is better than that?

it isn't worth buying.

I have one, no you don't need to subscribe, except to cable ofcourse. Unless you want locals from an antena. You can also use svideo and rca depending on the card you get

The TV-Tuner tuner is made to show whatever your TV does, hence the name Of course you could get more with some HDTV tuner or something like that...
