Tweaking nVidia

Hey guys.

I am running the XFX 8800GTX XXX edition. I went into the nVidia control panel tonight for the first time.

I have cranked every global setting up to its maximum possible and allowed global to override applications.

Is this okay to do?

Is it safe to assume that I should only change this if I experience any problems?

Most importantly, it won't do anything detrimental to the card itself will it?

Of course not, it wouldn't damage the card in any way, I just wish nvidia would hurry up and release a FULLY functional driver for vista.

I wanted to be sure. It's an expensive piece of equipment and I'm no expert.

You got that right, the 8800GTX is so expensive at the moment, a bit overpriced is what I think.
