Twisted CPU pins

I just changed the CPU's heatsink and when removing the old one, the CPU remained hooked to it due to the thermal paste. A few pins got twisted in the process so I straightened them and put the CPU back in place without any problem. It seems to be working normally but I wonder if this can be bad on the long term even if I don't touch it anymore or will it be alright ?

when removing a heatsink, best to first *twist* the heatsink gently, and if possible let the cpu remain warmed up a little when trying to break the seal of the heatsink compound, if necessary, take a hair dryer to it, and warm it up, otherwise just run it hard before turning it off, then unlatch, twist, and it should pop off without harm

Yah, dont worry about the twisted pins, ive dont that about 3 times to my one cpu lol, works like normal.

Like Fury said, if its one of those square stock AMD heatsinks with the stock paste, Its best to remove it when its warm, makes life easier.
