Two computers.

I want to know how to connect two computers to transfer data.

In control panel open network and internet connections and then network connections and the local area connection and the follow the steps in wizard.

Make a home network. You'll need a router/switch. Not a hub. Then just use the "setup a home network" wizard.

^ You don't need a home network for transferring data between two computers, all you need to do is buy a crossover cable and connect them to the ethernet port on both PC's.

1. - You can use a crossover cable
2. - you need a hub / switch (i use a hub for my home network)
3. - You won't need to do the setup wizard.
4. - You'll have enable sharing on both computers
