Two Desktops

Hello, i just recently scored myself a new flat screen monitor for my laptop. I normally connect it to my laptop's RGB output and able to extend my desktop to it or vice versa. Is it possible to have a compltely seperate desktop on my external monitor? Is there a software that can enable me to get a desktop on each screen?

do mean having two independent toolbars with start menues?

you can strech your desktop to another screen. your video drivers should handle this.

If i stretch my desktop to the second screen, would that give me two toolbars with a start menu each?
