So I got the supplys for my build today. I got 2 hard drives (both SATA, and same brand.), one 250GB and the other 500 GB. Which hard drive do I put as the boot drive, and which one do I put as storage? Any help is appreciated
It really doesn't matter. If anything, I'd make my decision based on your partition layout. The larger Drive would make the most sense to be used as storage/backup, so in this case, I'd probably run with the 250 GB as the first Drive.
Well I've got a 500GB and a 250GB, the computer came with one 500GB and I later added the other for all my Data. But if I was starting again I would swap them around.
Therefore 250GB for OS and programs and 500GB for data.
