i know its a really noobish question and makes me sound stupid but ill ask anyway how do people use two monitors :s do you need 2 graphics cards ? or is there some piece of hardware i need ?
 
nope you just can get a Gfx card with 2 monitor ports on it like mine has

Or if your card only has one port then you could buy a second cheap gfx card for pci to gt another monitor on it.

i was actualy considering getting another monitor and having 2 as i can get a 19" CRT for £20 second hand or a 17" for 15 :)
 
yeah jamie your GeForce7600GS listed in your siggy already has 2 ports so you can add another monitor :)

what card have you got at the moment?
 
i dont have any atm i buggered my computer so i have to use a laptop :| i hate it cant wait to get my new build in august :D
