Two scans at the same time

Is it a bad idea to runs two scans at the same time g.e. a spyware and a virus scan or two virus scans (diffrent programs of course)?

No, it's not bad, it'll just slow down your comp to nothing in most cases.

But when I am not doing anything but scanning that does not matter really does it?
