ubuntu dual boot

If you are using grub to choose your operating system, then you just have to edit the grub menu.
Boot up to ubuntu. navigate to the following location and open in text editor.

/boot/grub/menu.lst - this is the location of all the grub entries. save a copy of this file. locate the entry you want removed. delete it. reboot your system.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think that file gets overwritten whenever you run update-grub. So you would need to re edit the file every time you (or your computer) ran that command.
