Ubuntu - Help please

Kk, so basically I have installed aircrack for 'testing' my own AP & it is showing in repositories as aircrack-ng.

The problem is that I am unable to locate it under Applications or System/Preferences/Main Menu

Where would I be able to find it?

have you installed it?

Is it a command line tool? Open up terminal and type this whereis aircrack and see if it returns anything.

In a terminal here's the stuff you can enter: "airmon.sh", "airodump", "aircrack", "aireplay", "airdecap", and "arpforge"

And here's a page explaining it: http://wirelessdefence.org/Contents/AircrackMain.htm (The tools section of the page)
