Hi folk! posted a thread earlier a bout my problem with my LG monitor booting up with my ubuntu/linux system. It's basically saying "pc out of range".Then the whole screen goes blank.
Your GPU is trying to set the monitor at either a higher resolution or a higher refresh rate than what it can handle. If you can, boot Ubuntu in low graphics mode and see if you can change the resolution to the correct value.

Yeah,I thought this might have something to do with it.Do you know how I can boot Ubuntu in low graphic mode? It also says that: "it's going into DMT mode".Thanks.
