Hi, straight to the point: When i'm downloading the ubuntu iso, do i open or save?

save, you then just burn the image to the disk

You save it. Then you have to burn it to a CD, DON'T just burn it like you would any other CD though. You have to burn it using a program like ISO Recorder: http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm It's free and when I use Windows it's the one I use.

Use poweriso or magiciso!! They work great!!

decent burning apps should have the detaure to;let you burn the image
