ive just installed ubuntu o/s on my netbook (im a complete newbie to linux) and i cant seem to find drivers for the wlan card can anyone help please, thanks
 
I would say to google "(make and model of wlan card) wlan card and ubuntu linux drivers." Ubuntu is tricky with drivers for certain hardware like wireless cards and the like. However, the steps in doing so maybe complicated, especially for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with the Linux OS.

If there is only a Windows driver for your wlan card then you can try and install it by using WINE at winehq.com. You should install WINE anyways as it's a wonderful tool for Linux users. Good luck!
