I download Ubuntu 10.whatever and when I boot from the USB the loading screen (The five dots and the word Ubuntu) Keeps going, and going, and going, but when I put it in my sisters laptop it loads almost instantly! Does anyone know why this would happen?

Hit escape twice. It'll get rid of the loading screen and show you the startup processes, as they startup. You most likely have a error somewhere and it's getting stuck at that spot without you knowing. Or it's performing a fsck. Could be either.

I think computer detects boot drive first by setting BIOS menu. First computer goes to optical internal drive then goes to HDD drive in general. To change the boot drive detection by BIOS menu, it might be okay from booting USB?.... I tried Macintosh booting by CD and installing HDD but I didn't try from external USB or Memory cards since I don't have enough technical experience.

but... Windows users, if you can detect USB and/or Flash memory card selecting the drive by BIOS as I mentioned... it may be worth to do that.
:)

Let me try to explain again. When I put the USB Drive in my computer and pick Boot from this drive, It keeps loading, and loading, and loading. It DID NOT FINISH. (I let it sit for about half an hour.) When I put it in my sisters laptop the balls when across the screen like 7 times and it loaded fine.

So you get to the boot screen? Then try what i said.
