I installed Ubuntu on a 15 gig HD yesterday... and it loads fine and everything but i'm having probolems with it though.... I can't connect to the internet help me please??!!!

More details! I'm having the same problem when booting Ubuntu (7.04) off a Live CD... what kinda modem do you have, how's it hooked up, is DHCP enabled? If your setup is identical to mine, I'll see if I can get someone to help me fix it and post the solution here (I posted the problem up on ubuntu forums)

I'm not sure what a live CD is, but i burned the ISO, installed and everything worked fine, yet i can't connect using firefox, i checked my internet connection and it's say connected to LAN... I'm using Bellsouth Neostar Modem, Naw I have only Static IP... This is bugging me because Ubuntu is soo much faster and better than XP...
