I really don't know if this is the proper section so if its wrong please move.

But I was wondering if I need to get a new router/ modem because everytime my slow a$$ computer tried to load something and takes its good old time the internet will go. And it goes randomly as well. Is that just my interent provider? or could my modem/router be so old affecting it?

my point is it could be everything. if u can post some details it will be much easier to debug ur network. try to give us

1. your network topology
2. interfaces utilization (router)
3. interface error if any

The company my router and modem are Linksys if that was one of your questions

Who is your internet service provider? Your from Jersey... Comcast? Have you tried calling them? They can call to test if your router is scheiße or broken... have you tried hooking the computer up directly to the cable modem?

I think the help number is 1800 comcast ... seriously

Yea comcast is are provider ..how do I hook it right into the computer? Mine comp isn't wireless I have the router/modem with my computer..
