Uhh... 122*C?

Just downloaded SensorsView, and it reads my P4 3.2 O/C to 3.92 temperature at 122-130*C?
Speedfan seems a bit optimistic, idling at 23*C, but I DO have an AC Freezer 7 Pro.

What do you recommend? 122*C scares me a bit...

ya sensor muct be stuffed the way to find out if it is that hot realy is touch the bottom of your heat sink if u can hold your finger there i would say it is under 75C

Ok, I just restarted and went into my bios, left it for a few minutes and it was idling at about 29-30*C.
My heatsink is just slightly warm.

It's fine, then:) Some Temp programs don't like certain CPU's. SpeedFan loves mine, PC Wizard hates it and gives false readings and mislabeled items across the board.

BTW, Who is that on your avatar?

Lol xD
That was Captain Picard from Star Trek, but I used PhotoShop to superimpose my head onto it. Yeah I'm wierd.
The original picture of me was at a party, and some girls had drawn a moustache onto me hehe. So yeah.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. I think you'd notice random crashes, restarts and shutdowns before your CPU hit 80C. It's rare you find one application that can actually give you the correct reading for temps as I've installed various ones myself and they often give me different readings. Although luckily for me they are only usually 3C off at the best of times from one another. So I have a ball park figure of where they are at. Try PC Wizard maybe? See if that's any better?

Rove.
