UK Broadband ISP's

I have recently Signed up with UK Online. Am currently waiting for my line activation date, then ill post back and tell you what they are like.

Who are you with? Who do you recommend?
Reasons.
 
Im with NTL. Whilst there shoddy as hell and lied blatantly to my face 3 times! they're upgrading EVERYONE to 10Mb which is cool.

EVERYONE? :eek: Even the terribly treated 1 MB users?

They "upgraded" us from 300K with a Bandwidth of 30 GB, to a speed of 1 MB and a bandwidth of 3 GB! :mad: I can't beleive they did that. Why have a slow connection with loads of usage limit, and then give me a 1MB connection and take it all away? And now I see these ads on the tele with Tiscali and AOL saying they have "unlimited" download limits :(

Never the less, their service is ok and they are usually reliable (IMO). Except for all the times they need to do a service check, and there is no e-mail for 3 days.
 
I can't stand all this usage limit, its ridiculous i want a service with unlimited usage limit. Doesn't everybody?
 
im with blueyonder (which is part of NTL), ive not had any problems. i currently use their 1 Mb package, although ive heard that i will be getting upgraded to 4 Mb soon not 10 Mb as elmarcorulz said :confused:

NTL are being upgraded to 10mb, not blue yonder. Although4mb is still pretty fast
 
i am with Pipex 2mb unlimited. I have been with them for more than 2 years and had no problem with speed or any other. I wanna get 8mb from UK online but its not available in my area yet neither any 8mb ISPs. Most of my friends has 8mb and they are with UK online they say its good, no problems so far.
