UK / USA Voltages

I'm stuck in a little problem here, guys...

I've bought my PSU from the USA and I live in the UK. So, my simple question is whether or not, becuase the voltages are different, the PSU will not function.

Thanks,

Rambo :)

look on the sticker of the psu and see what its rates voltages are, its usually 90-250 volts or something similar. a lot of new power supplies automatically switch voltages so that you dont have to worry about it. if you cant find it anywhere (including the manual) have a look on the manufacturer's website

Just looked on the back of my PSU, and the red bnit that changes the voltage is on 230. Soim pretty sure yours should be set to this, but you will have to change it. FYI, if you try to boot with it on the other voltage selected, the psu explodes.......BIG

If you set it to 110 and its plugged into 230, then it will most likely explode. I think that it will just not turn on if you set it to 230 in a 110.

Right, ok...so it will definately work as long as the red slider thingy is set to 230, right?
