This computer is 100% upgradable to any new CPU on the market including pentium D. It has an pci-express x16 for any of the new GPU. It also has DDR2 667Mhz as one its standards. This computer in also 100% 64-bit upgradable. CPU upgrade, 512MB memory upgrade, DVD-RW and a stealth Graphics card would set the computer on fire, but to start off with this is a good computer. This is the actual cost to build this computer, but it probably has come down in the last month.

out of the 2 you gave it was 389 well below his budget and 4495 which is well above his budget.

back on topic: hell wat do you plan on doing? gaming i assume?
do you need the extras like monitor, keyboard, etc.?

Sorry, I should have made my point a little clearer. When I look at a system I look at the bottom of the barrel which is usually ok stuff(Cheapest) and then I look at the best stuff(Most expensive). Somewhere in between is usually what you are shooting for. good price-good performance, but unfortunatly you either start at the bottom or you start from the top.
