This is just for kicks and giggles. If you had 10k for a computer what would you get? maybe this should be in off topic? Then again maybe some rich dude will see this and say HEY I GOT 11,000 LAYING AROUND I MIGHT AS WELL GET THIS. or not lol. If you had this budget what would you get. Include moniters, keyboard, mice, chair, desk, speakers and so on.

i'd probably just get a decent average pc ... usually around 2-3k for a pretty good one.

then spend the remaining 7-8k on fixing the room to compliment the pc. wireless speakers, surround sound, color scheme, etc..

I would get one of those LCDs that can display 3840 x 2400 pixels

I would also get a nice phase change cooler :D

Mmm...this will be fun.

Sorry had to skimp out on some of the parts, your budget doesnt facilitate anything close to what would be considered balanced & extreme performance. Of course if you think you've got the moolah for it,

- Upgrade the memory subsystem to 8x Crucial 2GB PC3200 CL3 EccReg ($540.00) ... +$3400
- Upgrade the tertiary storage subsystem by adding another Maxtor DiamondMax11 500GB 16MB SATA3.0($345) and upgrade to a Highpoint RocketRaid2240 ($409.00) ... +$754
- Add a basic cooling subsystem

Of course by this point the subtotal is a much more balanced $16114.89

Just my 2 cents... That chair costs about $150. Canadian without the built in crap. I would just buy the chair and hold onto my controllers etc. but as we are talking PC I would just purchase a large cushy office chair but then again I own one :). And the desk is frigging ugly as heck. Of course that is just opinion.
