Hello everyone,

I would like to get opinions on this system that I am building. Now my system would be the UGM if I would have went with the WD Raptor harddrives but I did not. Here is what I went with and at the end how much the system is costing me.

3 1/2 floppy drive
All in one media card reader (Vantec)

Future Mods: Liquid Cooling, Raptor HD's X 8, and X-Fi sound card.

Is that a SLI 7800GTX?!?!?!? WOW, lucky dog, and with an FX-57!!!!! That's gonna be a f*cking SCREAMER!!!

I would wait until they started making 16mb caches on HDD that actual benefit over 8mb. really. and also, I hope your not getting that card reader for the sake of it, so unnessiccarily expensive

Thanks for the reply redrider773. My cardreader only cost me like $10.00USD and I will use for my digital cam and my friends cams. The price difference between 16MB cache and 8MB cache HDD is little to non-existent on newegg.

i would not say ultimate, but it is good but then again i would say it is ultimately expensive machine. if you have money you might as well go SCSI raid 15,000rpm LOL

and this 4gb memory will not downclock the mobo will it.

thanks for the reply kof2000. 4gp will not downclock the mobo. I thought about scsi but just did not want to go with them rightnow.

I am planning to upgrade to the windows 64 bit edition when the drivers and games are online for it. That is why I went with 4gb of memory.

Ok, good choice, since there are no 64 bit games out yet, so you wouldn't the full effect of X64.
