i just realized that it is 256 MB, not 512MB like every other 7950 is.

so...am i officially screwed? should i just send it back for a refund? do i need 512? can someone please just help me...? i am worried i messed up with this and im a little pissed too cause i just want to build the computer ASAP...thanks everyone.

No you dont need 512MB. It may perform a bit better on max/ultra settings, but generally you wont notice much of a difference.

Was that cheaper then the 512MB 7950GT's?

alright cool thanks guys.

omega- a guy sent me that link and i just ordered it. i dont really know that much about video cards at all, and didnt even notice the difference that it was 256

and thanks to both of you.

but out of curiosity...what is the difference between 256 and 512MB? what does that part of the graphics card do? do you know what im asking...? like, why is it important. thanks again
