k well i got my new cpu fan and it turns out my case is hotter than ever..

i get 115 F inside case...

before it was about -92.....

what can i do about this??
i wanted to Oc but now im haveing 2nd thoughts....
 
I hear some people say aftermarket fans aren't as good as OEM ones. Don't know if this is true...

Now, as for you're problem, it sounds as if you probably didn't apply enough thermal paste IF you had to. If you didn't, you probably just got a crappy cooler. In that case, I'd suggest getting some good thermal paste and try to reapply it and hopfully get better cooling.
 
yea i think im going to apply more because when i pushed down the fan onto the cpu most of if "smeared" off the cpu...idk hard to explain but thanks alot i was thinking just that i should apply more thermal compound....
