unable access google when change to other wifi

I have a laptop with window 7 system. The laptop works fine at home. I can access google, youtube, etc. But if I change to other wifi, like hotel/company wifi, the laptop can't access google, youtube.

Anybody knows what is problem and how to fix it ?

Can you access anything online? If not then I would assume not getting a proper ip address.

Do you have a static IP defined? Usually you will have to revert to DHCP in order to utilize other networks seamlessly.

Or it's a DNS issue. And I would not use the hotel's default DNS. Something I learned from DEFCON. TEEHEE.

There is Google of 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4 and OpenDNS (which I have used for nine or ten years) 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 There are many others, but those two are the most popular.
