Unable to access certain websites

I've just bought a new computer, its an AMD ATHLON64 DUAL CORE 7750. Ive got it all set up but can't get onto some sites, ie Yorkshire Bank for internet banking, just says Internet explorer has encountered a problem and must close.

Can anyone help here?

I think it may be the " DATA EXECUTIVE PREVENTION" setting, not really sure what this is and can i fully turn it off.
