Unable to locate component

Today I just downloaded Fruit Ninja.Everything went cool.After the downloading and installing the game I wanted to play,so I clicked to the game icon. I couldn't play the game,because when I click on the icon it appears to me this:

FruitNinja.exe- Unable To Locate Component.
This application has failed to start because d3dx9_42.dll was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I re-installed the application but nothing happened,the same!
If anyone know's how to escape this problem,please reply me.

That's a DirectX component that's missing or corrupt.
I'd hit up Microsoft to update your DirectX install to the latest one for your OS.
