Unallocated Hard Drive

Some help please. I'm running a 2 hard drive setup. My OS is on the C drive which is running fine. My slave drive was running great, but now I can't seem to access it. My problem is that I've got a bunch of files on my second hard drive that I don't want to lose. The second hard drive shows up in the BIOS as the primary slave and it also shows up when I pull up disk management as unallocated space. I have tried a different hard drive cable and it has the same results. Any help would be appreciated. It's an IDE setup using Windows XP SP2.

TIA,
Andy

Yeah, it sounds like the same issue. I've already got a bunch of information on my drive that I would like to keep if at all possible. I see where it'll let me create a new partition but I don't know if that will erase what is already on the disk.
