Underclocked video RAM

Can anyone tell me why my video RAM is running at 166Mhz, when it should be at 333Mhz, may explain the recent lag in CS:CZ. Any help....

ah damn, that'll teach me to read things too fast, thanks man. Still no explaination as to the recent lag in CS then, i know my vid card is crap but it used to do fine, im now down on 800x600 at 16bit colour, it looks crap and still plays like crap, if i go back to 1024x768 its completely unplayable...

can you think of anything that changed right before you started getting poor gameplay? a new patch, maybe? did you make any changes for any other games?
 
All I can think of is a good re-format, but I don't think you would want to do that. The re-format should clear up your problem.

or maybe you changed some video options like Anti Aliasing 6X, lol i doubt
 
no, no changes at all, i jsut started playing one day and it was all jerky and shit, i was like WTF are you doing, it worked yesterday, lol. And no, i dont want to reformat, ivve only jsut got everything i need back on here from the last format. And no video options like that are enabled, all details are on low and all effect thingies are off. i cant see why it would be lagging.

i can relate to your problem in my previous setup, and the problem was a dying video card..

uh oh, thats not good, i suppose its a good job im saving and pricing up for a new one, the 6600GT is looking like a decent mid-low range at the moment. Only about £95 GBP
