unidentified network windows vista

I recently had to get a new netgear router so, I set it up on my pc and everything is working great. I got wireless desktop with xp and my ps3 to connect to the router no problem. My brother recently got a Vista laptop and for some odd reason I can not get it to connect for anything with any type of security enabled. When I take the security off it connects without a problem, but as soon as I put it on it says unidentified network. I know that the key I am using is correct I have checked it a million times and I have even reconnected the wireless desktop and ps3 with no issue. I have also updated the firmware on the router, updated the driver on the wireless adapter in the vista computer, and reset the router, turned the firewall off tried to connect and still nothing any ideas?

Try removing the wireless connection under manage wireless connections and try setting it up again.

Tried it and still nothing. Every time it tries to connect it asks me to hit the configuration button on the router, but It doesn't seem like it has one...doesn't make any sense.
