Uninstalled program detected!

Hi guys,...
I need your help, I've just got kaspersky antivirus 2009, while I was trying to install it, suddenly it detected avg 8 to be uninstalled first.
I don't know how can it be, I've uninstalled avg 8 several months ago but why is it still detected by kaspersky ? I've deleted all avg folder in program files, even the quarantine folder.

Sometimes things in the registry cause this to happen etc. even after removal of the core application. Check here for more information on a clean uninstall.
