uninstalling video card

I am starting to think the video card I installed in my computer possibly could of been a downgrade to the default video card built in to the computer. How do I go back to the default video card then? I assume it is not as simple as just uninstalling the old video card and plugging back into the old monitor input. or is it?

I doubt it. Usually anything is better than an integrated GPU.
 
The reason I was thinking that is because the new video card cant handle Silent Hill 2 (game), yet my firends built in video card on a peice of junk $400 computer plays it just fine. The video card I bought was only $25. :confused:
 
You should be fine. Just uninstall it and plug your monitor cable into the default integrated video card slot on the motherboard.

I uninstalled it but I dont get anything when I plug the monitor cable back into the default slot. There must be something else I have to do, unless I did something wrong. :confused:
 
Really, it should have automatically detect that there was no video card present. Did you take the video card out of its slot too?
 
that worked. thanks for the help. Guess I was wrong though. The default video card couldnt even open the oldest simplest pc game I had.
 
lol funny integrade is the worst ever try a litle more expensive card like some where in the 9000 sereis for around 40 to 80 bucks u wont go wrong there i can play guild wars ff11 and many other mmos on my computer and 1 have a 9250 i actually played the demo for quake 4 with fine picture but it was very laggy considering my shity cpu i get like 1 frame per 2 seconds lol
