I have partition magic that I'm using to format and partition stuff. I installed a second operating system, one had Windows XP Pro on it the other had Windows XP Pro x64 Edition. I kept Windows XP Pro for a bit to make sure the installation of x64 worked correctly. Everything is hunky dory, now I want to get rid of everthing on the partion that has windows xp pro. The only problem is I always get an error, it says "unknown error occured while formatting," what the heck is wrong? I've tried it several times. Thanks.
