Unknown Issue with New Build

About a month ago I put a computer together and every went smooth and continued to work correctly until yesterday. I wake up and attempt to turn my computer on but I get the 'no signal' notification from my monitor. This startles me and I check to make sure all the wiring is secure, which it was. I try to start it again and I get the same problem. After that I made sure all the wiring inside the case was correct, which is was. I know there is some sort of power in the machine because once I turn the power button the fans light up and start. I am really confused on what route I should take to fix this issue. Hopefully someone can diagnose my problem or give me an idea of where to start.
Comp Specs:
4GB (4 X 1GB) OCZ Platinum RAM
E6750 2.66GHz Intel C2D CPU
500GB WD HDD
8800GT Galaxy GPU
500W PSU
Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4L Motherboard

Any suggestions are welcome, thank-you.

have u tryed to reset the CMOS read MOBO book to find out what pins to put the jumper on.
u just have to put a jumper in a couple of pins for a few secons WITH THE POWER CORD UNPLUGED FROM THE PSU NEVER BOOT THE COMPUTER WITH THAT JUMPER STILL ON.

Power supply is popped.

Are you sure the power supply is bad? I just purchased it a month ago and everything lights up when I turn the system on. I also tried resetting the CMOS and it did not change anything in the boot sequence, still 'no signal'.

No he is not sure, and can never be sure. If it worked for a month, it will still work.

Reset CMOS, look for beep codes, remove one stick of memory at a time and try booting.

either your cpu or motherboard

i had the exact same problem with my new build, thougth it was my psu so upgraded from a 400W to a new silerstone 560W still didn't resolve the problem - the computer would still not P.O.S.T. tried another graphic card, cpu, and HD so ended up taking it back to the shop where i brought the parts and they couldn't resolve the problem either so now i'm waiting on a new motherboard and cpu, hopefully that will fix the problem.
i'd say your mb is faulty.

About as sure as I can get without seeing it. I see that on a disturbingly regular basis, sometimes right out of the box. There are 12v and 5v rails. One can pop, the other one stay working so that the lights come on yet noone's home.

The other possibilities are a blown processor. RAM or other issues it would beep. A cooked BIOS can do that, as well as a blown chip on the board. I saw one of those the other day too. It's currently sitting in my office with a big hole in one of the ICs.

Here are some other possibilities I've seen. Add-in cards that would prevent the computer from posting. Bad caps. A dead optical drive. Stuff like that. All you have to do is unplug everything but processor, RAM and video. See if it posts. Take it from there. I'm still betting on PSU though.

Hardware conflict. Doesn't happen alot, but does prevent it from booting. I had that happen.

also, try the video card, was it overclocked? Swap it for another one you have or a friend's and see. I had one just die like that!

Since I was planning on getting a new power supply I decided it was time to do it now. So I installed it and it powered everything up but still didn't recognize the monitor. I did notice a few things: The fans work because they are directly connected to PSU and the CPU fan turns on for a fraction of time and then doesn't spin for the whole time the computer is 'running". Could it be a problem with my motherboard, possibly fried?

take the graphics card out and put it back in.
its possible its come loose some how.

in fact, take everything out, and only put the motherboard, cpu, 1 stick of ram, the graphics card in and plug the power supply in.

see if it works then. if it does, plug in the harddrive and dvd drive and if that works then cool.
