hey, i have an old Windows 98 PC that currently isnt working as the hard drive is broken :(.

i am going to be buying a bundle of stuff including RAM, Hard drive etc...
my only issue is i dont know the name of the motherboard, this might help me when buying the things i need.

am i able to find the motherboard info by just looking at what is written on it?

i dont get what you mean. i only need this pc for spare stuff, and yes, it will run XP when im finished, but i need to know the motherboard name/type/number/whatever so i can find out the best ram i can use with it :)

Most motherboards have something written on them so you can identify it. If it is an OEM system (HP, Dell, etc) your best off looking on their website with the machines model number.

google to the rescue

It's a Tiny 810L: 750Mhz PIII, 128MB RAM, mATX MSI motherboard with Intel 815 chipset

i have foudn that i can use 133mhz SDram in it :) lol

you should have just said its a p3 750mhz. rams on old board are just sdram pc133 or pc100 no need to find any best ram to fit it. unlike new boards
