Yes I bought one of the first 710's, had it at 3.1ghz but I went to the 550 at 3.9 and was much happier. As a quad it's only stable with reasonable voltage to 3.8, so thats where I leave it. I was able to run 3dmark06 at 3.9ghz as a quad but it's not P95 stable.

Yeah, I've had 3 710s and one would not unlock stable and they didnt overclock as well either.

if down the road push comes to shove ill see if i can unlock the cores and if so boom instant upgrade
otherwise ill save up for a new processor
