Unlocking CPU with 880GMA-USB3

Hi all,

Looking to unlock my AMD CPU, and upon going into the bios I don't see the ACC options. I'm assuming I have the latest F6 bios. I figure they must have removed the feature in the update, although I cannot find any other bios revisions. Anyone have some insight? Looking to get this Sempron 140 slowski unlocked.

This is a gigabyte 880GMA-USB3

Not all of them unlock. I had a triple core and ran bios unlocking, of whatever biostar calls it and it unlocked the 4th core. I dont know if I gigabyte board supports it. If theres any thing about core leveling in bios turn it to manual and restart?

With 850SB, pretty sure it should have core unlocker w/any bios.
If you install and run this app it will show you the BIOS revision you have.
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z/versions-history.html

If in the BIOS you have:
Cool & Quiet = disabled
CPU Unlock = Auto
CPU Core Control = Auto

Reboot. If it doesn't boot or is unstable, give the cpu voltagle a bump up.

Alright, I'll give that a try once I get back on it. I set the core control to auto, rebooted and there was no change to the CPU. SHALL report back. Thanks guys

Still nothing. CPU-z showed rev F2, flashed the neweset one. F4e, still no options.

Could try setting unlock features to manual, then enable core 0 and core 1.
Bump up the voltage if it won't reboot.

I can't say for sure how much voltage increase would be too much.

It may not unlock.

someone else might have better input.
