unlocking HP MOBO...

I asked this question about unlocking HP's mobo's bios awhile back.

But was told impossible.

However, after researching this topic apparently there is away.

A few ways infact, one flashing but i do not want to try this as its fatal to your system.

I was talking to someone here about this , but i dont remember who.

Anyways just want to know more

HP has perfected their cluster-f*** with motherboards. almost all of their newest computers are virtually worthless to overclock. some of the older motherboards can be overclocked, but not well, and definitely not safely.
 
YUP i wanted to overclock my old Hp but theres no settings in the bios to do so,even overclocking programs in windows would not work.

as mentioned you would need a modded Bios but personaly i wouldnt trust them.
 
I've OCed my HP (AMD Sempron CPU) from stock 1.8 to 2.1GHz anr run it stable, but since the PCI(-E) is not locked it started crashing when I tried higher...
 
yeah i overclocked a pentium 3 in a fujitsu from 933 to like 1.2

the older 1/2ghz cpus were more fun to overclock
