Unrepairable XP w/ SATA Raid

I'm working on a friend's comp. that has 2 60G HD's set up on RAID 0. Somehow the Windows XP Home installation became corrupt and is now unrepairable. Is it possible to insert these two drives into another machine (with the use of an add-on pci card) and recover the data files before reinstalling Windows?

Any help is much appreciated...
