Unresponsive keys on gaming keyboard

My son's gaming keyboard has simply stopped working. First it was just the W key that was unresponsive and then all the rest of the keys followed suit.
It's only a few weeks old so I am hoping there will be a simple fix. Can anyone suggest what might be causing the problem?

Hi Jon. no, nothing was spilt on it. I've found someone locally now who will take a look at it so fingers crossed!

If it's just a couple weeks I'd return for a replacement.
