Unstable PC

Hey i have a new computer i built about 2 months ago. i had some trouble getting the ram to run stable (according to memtest 86+) at 1600MHz but i got it after a bit. but now anytime i try to run a stress test over night i get errors within 20 mins. i only tried the stress test taht came with my AMD CPU (Overdrive) but i also notice things like games crashing on a regular basis etc.

im going to try prime95 tonight if i can get it working unless anyone has any other suggestions. if it fails with that i'll try my ram at 1333MHz.

but if i ran memtest for many hours without any errors i dont really feel that its my ram causing an error within such a short time.

after, and im not home atm but i think i may need to raise my CPU NB voltage to 1.3 from 1.2. but thats just a guess.

i actually meant just the NB voltage, to 1.3 does anyone know anything about this? im not sure what voltage to touch and what not too. or if i should even touch them at all.

Restore your BIOS back to "Optimized Defaults" and test again.

This is to make sure your RAM is good before you begin overclocking.

well i underclock the ram last night to 1333mhz at with timings something like 7-7-7-24 (something fairly loose for 1333mhz) and prime95 went for a good 7-8 hours. so now its just trying to get that damn ram to run at rated speeds which seems like quite a challenge judging by other OCZ forum posts.
