It's so people who want to sell something here need to stick around and post for a while. This rule is for the buyers protection, I know I wouldn't want to buy from someone who only has 1 post (chances are much higher it's a scammer).

I'm sure there are some good sellers on here but, I personally would never do any deal with someone on an internet forum.
whether you've made 1 post or 5,000 posts, doesn't mean you are a legit person.
I would highly urge all members to not buy things from random people and always assume the worst of peoples intentions. --Sure that sounds bad but your less likely to get screwed if you question everyone first.

It would be helpful if there were some instructions. It is not helpful to get a message that says, you do not have permission to post here.
It would be nice if the message said, You need 100 point to post here and this is how you get those 100 points...................................................................................................................................

Thats the main reason why we have a 100-post requirement..so people like you don't come here and try to hawk your crap and then just disappear.
I recommend you sell your stuff on ebay or something...or better yet, actually be a member of the community here and dont just try to sell stuff and leave,
Well when you make a post as you did before (it's since been edited) he has a reason to respond like that.
Though I do agree with your edited post. It would be very helpful to receive some sort of message saying that you need 100 posts to access this section. When I first got here, that's why I left because I sent numerous emails to the "Contact US" address and received emails back weeks later, drove me up the wall.

No chip, my friend, I'm just one of those people that says it like it is...other people sugar coat or be 'nice'...I cut to the chase and lay it out...rules are rules..I had to learn to accept the b.s. here...you will too. (That includes dealing with me)
I wish I had a reason each time I snap-show on people...I wouldn't look so crazy if I could justify my insanity.

the purpose of this forum isnt for selling computer components... If you are only here to do that, shoe off. If you are here to be part of the forum, you'd appreciate the rule as it is because its protecting you from people who only come here to sell and may be illegitimate

I didn't even really think twice..I heard there was a need and I did what I was able to do...
When I was younger there were alot of people that helped me and things much easier so now that I'm in a position to give back..it's an obvious choice.
