Unzip File

May I know how do I unzip files? and any free software to recommend, please.

You can use 7zip. Just install it, use it to open the zip file and click extract and choose a folder where you want the files.

HI, I have installed the recommended software and tried to unzip the file. It failed as the prompt says "the file is not supported archive"

May I know whats is the problem and how to unzip it? Thanks.

this is a program called winrar, everyone uses this one. it says there is a 40 day trial but it never seems to expire

Windows XP has a built-in unzipper.

When I tried to It failed as the prompt says "the file is not supported archive"

When I tried to open the file, the prompt says "the compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted"

HI, I have tried win rar software to repair the archive and are able to extract the files successfully.
