Update BIOS?

My HP dv6000 laptop has phoenix BIOS and I went to their website to look for BIOS updates and I have to pay for the software to update my BIOS. Now, im not asking for pirated software or anything like that, but does anyone here know and sites/programs that can find a BIOS update for free?

Why are you trying to update a laptops BIOS? The BIOS version you'd get from Phoenix isn't one that I would want to put on. HP should provide any BIOS updates you need.

They don't. My BIOS is already phoenix. I tried the HP website and the BIOS update is for vista ultimate x64 only + all the other XP/Vista but not ultimate x32, I have the x32. Thats my dilemma.
