Updating BIOS via CD?

You can copy the update as data then reboot hitting the F8 key. when the menu comes up exit to dos mode. You might need drivers to get your cd player up. Maybe and easier way is copy to a work directory on the hd then 'F8' to dos mode. On the other hand i would not take the update unless your are having issues. (hardware or improved bus speed). an update that goes wrong will shut you down.
 
go back to the site and review the issues for the bios update. if its not related to the card it will not solve your problem. the site will show you the update and who it applies to.
