Updating BIOS

Hey fellas I have downloaded the latest Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi BIOS but don't know how to install it. It has a .ROM extension. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks. Just to let you know I don't have a floppy drive.

You need to download the flash utility (the program that will run to open the .ROM file, to flash the BIOS), then copy everything to a diskette. This might be a problem since you don't have a floppy drive...I think you can burn it to a CD and boot from a CD rather than a floppy.

Do you know the name of the utilility?

First off, do you NEED to upgrade your bios. It's a fairly risky procedure and unless it's required, I'd suggest not doing it.

As for the utility, look on Asus's website or on the CD that came with your disk. There should be a utility(many times windows based, for these newer boards)
