Updating my AM2 to AM3...

I am still running AM2 stuff on my new AM3 Phenom II X4 945. I want to slowly get rid of this iBuyPower headache and mess but I don't have all the money right now. I want to start building piece by piece. I would like some recommendations as far as future proof MB, RAM, PSU, case & video card(s). I should just start fresh and build this AM3 and keep the AM2 for a backup. I can go that route too. Just need some ideas.

I would say change the video card to a single powerful one, e.g. 5850/5870
Then mobo + RAM if you stay AMD.
Mobo probably 870/ 880g chipset for single card or 890FX for crossfire.
However if you want intel, I would recommend you upgrade next year.

Really hard to say. If your happy with your GPU/Video card you could save up and get a AM3 board and DDR3 memory at once. Then later upgrade your Card later. When you go with a higher end card, not for sure about the NZXT power supply. Never really read up on them as far as quality. I know it really only has 465W on the 12V rail with a total of 38 amps.
